Kelly Clarkson Rocks "The X Factor" UK
On the homestretch of promotions for her soon-to-be-released album, Kelly Clarkson made an overseas television appearance on "The X Factor" UK on Sunday night (October 23).
The "American Idol" alum commanded the stage as she belted out her single "Mr Know It All" - which is from her new disc titled "Stronger" due out tomorrow, October 24th.
Aside from treating the crowd to her rockin' stage effort, Miss Clarkson took time to speak to the show's contestants, as she said, "The show is your door to get into the industry and it's what you do from there. As long as contestants own what they are and don't try to be something else [they will last]."
Kelly continued to say that she doesn't fit "The X Factor" prototype, explaining, "You think of Beyonce, she can sing, she can dance, she can act... [the X Factor] is an entertainer as well as a singer."
Topping off her advice, the 29-year-old voiced the importance in being able to sell a song, saying that "sometimes the most technically perfect voice is vanilla," adding that when she hears an emotionless tune "I dont think you've ever had your heart broken, you dont sound like you've had your heart ripped out of your chest!"
